Why I built Keep It Running❤️

It started with my own Dyson Solarcycle Morph floor lamp.

After several years of use, the lamp began switching itself off after a few minutes. The shutdown timing was inconsistent, and unplugging and reconnecting the power adapter sometimes brought it back to life temporarily.

At first, I thought the lamp itself was failing.

I contacted Dyson support and was initially told that they would arrange a replacement power adapter. I waited for several months, but nothing arrived and I received no further update. When I contacted Dyson again, I was told that the adapter had been discontinued.😔

That left me with an expensive Dyson lamp that was otherwise still in good condition, but could no longer be used reliably because of one failed part.😓

So I started researching replacement power adapters for Dyson Lightcycle and Solarcycle lamps.

During that process, I found compatible aftermarket options, but also discovered how difficult it was to find clear information about model numbers, part numbers, electrical specifications and compatibility. Similar-looking Dyson lamps can use different model codes, and marketplace listings are often inconsistent or incomplete.

That experience became the reason for creating Keep It Running.

The goal is simple: help people keep good products in use by making it easier to understand the problem, check compatibility and find the right replacement part.

For Dyson lighting products, that means helping owners of models such as CD03, CD04, CD05, CD06, CF04 and CF06 identify whether a power adapter may be causing the issue and find a compatible replacement when appropriate.

We focus on practical information, clear compatibility guidance and replacement parts for products that are still worth keeping.

Keep the product. Replace the part.❤️
